UPDATED! Sunday Snip and a $15 Giftcard!

UPDATE: Congrats to Melissa--I've already sent you an email! There will be another giveaway in the next ten days, so check back everyone. (Note: I determined the winner from those who left comments and sent emails using Random.Org)

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope everyone is having a kick-ass weekend. It's been awhile since I posted a Sunday Snip, so here's one from Chapter 3 of TIDAL. Also, I'm giving away a $15 Amazon or B&N gift card to celebrate the reveal of my newest cover.

Leave a comment below with your email address or shoot me an email at emilysnowcontests@gmail.com to enter by 6pm Eastern time this evening! Also, make sure you check out the giveaway my friend Kelli Maine is having on her blog. She's giving away The Proposition by Katie Ashley! If you haven't read Kelli's Taken or Katie's The Proposition yet, DO IT. Both books are amazing!

Now, on to the snip . . .

My new bodyguard didn’t budge, but I turned sideways in my seat so I could get a better look at Cooper. He stood a few feet away, with a black duffel bag slung over his shoulder, looking confident and relaxed in a black t-shirt that accentuated his long, toned body and frayed jeans. And he was smiling—a beautiful, heart-stopping, panty-dropping smile. I was torn between popping him in the mouth and kissing him until our lips were numb so I could get this damn attraction thing out of the way.

One taste of Surfer Boy before I dulled my reality.

“You could try not to be a dick,” I said in a voice oozing with sugary sweetness. Coopers full lips quirked up even more, and I felt something sharp twist in the center of my chest, between my ribcage. God, why were all the good-looking ones complete assholes?

“Why? I think I like you when you’re all flustered,” Cooper replied, winking. “You’re less inhuman and much more . . .” His voice drifted off, as if he couldn’t quite find the right word to describe me.

Right now, I needed him to find it, even if that meant he had to dig all day. I wanted to know what he thought of me. “I’m much more what?

He cocked his head to one side, sizing me up. Beside me, Dawson snorted, but said nothing. At last, Cooper said, “Beautiful.”

I’d been a performer, a liar who could mask her emotions, for as long as I could remember and yet Cooper's words made me flush from my head to the very tips of my toes. As he came to sit across from Miller and me, slamming his duffel bag on the tiled airport floor, I gave myself a mental shanking for having yet another knee-jerk reaction to Cooper.

He is a dick. He is your surf coach. He will screw you over. Slow the fuck down, hoebag, before you get in trouble again.
